Meanwhile as Vikram is in Kiran's custody, he is thought to be missing which horrifies Prakashan. For that, he finds Baiju, a meek, joker type guy to marry Sonia to which Kiran and Sonia objects. Rahul also plans to marry her off to a meek man so that he wont be questioned by anyone. This infuriates Rahul, so he decides to kill Vikram only to be saved by Kiran who safeguards him for the sake of his sister from Rahul's goons. But Prakashan demands that on the eve of the wedding day, Rahul must wash Prakashan's feet, then only the marriage will happen. Even, Rahul to feels the same due to his enmity towards Prakashan. Prakashan doesn't want this marriage to happen because Sonia's uncle, Rahul is Prakash's enemy. When she tells about this to Vikram, he ignores it and eventually she decides to attempt suicide only to be saved by Kalyani. Sonia becomes pregnant with Vikram's baby. At last, Sonia is attracted to Vikram and they make love. Unfortunately, Kalyani accepts for this without knowing the truth behind this treachery and draw a picture and gives it to him which he gives to Sonia telling her that he drew it. Since Vikram does not know to draw, he requests Kalyani to draw a picture for Sonia. Vikram discovers that Sonia is an art lover. Vikram discovers her wealthy status and tries his best to attract Sonia but all in vain. On the other hand, Vikram, Kalyani's cunning brother is a spolied brat who falls for Sonia, a wealthy girl who is revealed to be Kiran's sister. Her parents Rahul and Shari too support her. Sarayu is heartbroken that Kiran left her and becomes jealous of Kalyani. Kiran is shocked at first but forgives her and decides to transform her into a bold young woman. Kalyani decides to reveal the bitter truth to him. In fact, Kiran doesn't know that Kalyani is mute and thinks that she is silence fasting. In the end, both falls for each other leading to Kiran abandoning his fiancé and cousin Sarayu.
Eventually, he decides to employ her as a cook in his construction company. He gradually meets Kalyani and become fond of her kind, calm nature. After a long gap, Kiran tries to find out who the girl was and asks this about Kalyani which elates her. One day, in her childhood, Kalyani had saved the life of a rich boy named Kiran. Though mute, she is talented and intelligent but still, longs for her father's affection. Prakashan and his mother feel elated and pamper him, choosing to hate Kalyani and consider her as a mere worker, sending her to sell milk at a tender age itself. After this, Deepa again gives birth to a baby boy who is christened as Vikramadhityan. Everybody is terrified and, as a result, they mistreat the child except Deepa and her brother, Dayanand, who feel they should care for her.
Prakashan consults an astrologer who predicts that the child would bring misfortune to the family. Prakashan and his mother are terrified since the child is a girl and is speech-deprived. Luckily, the child survives but is born mute due to the poison.
He, with the help of his mother, poisons Deepa. Deepa becomes pregnant for a second time, but this time Prakash decides to kill the baby since he can't afford another child. For that reason he ignores Kadhambari, who is his first daughter, and longs for a son. Prakashan, on the contrary, is a cruel man who finds girls to be a burden. Deepa is a kind-hearted woman who cares for everyone. ĭeepa and Prakashan are a couple who live with Prakashan's mother.
